WE DID IT..... AGAIN!!!
Six members of the Roxbury Track and Field team qualified for the New Balance Outdoor National Championship in North Carolina once again! This year, we will be representing our team and our town with our Girls Sprint Medley Relay of Jordan Morris, Jess Cammarata, Bridget Doherty, and Karly Forker; Kevin Sembrat will run the 400 meter race; and new this year, our Mixed 4x400m Relay of Brandon Longtine, Kevin Sembrat, Karly Forker, and Jess Cammarata will be among the first Morris County teams to run the event at Nationals!!!
Now... we just have to get there! Please consider helping us represent Roxbury at the most competitive high school track and field meet in the nation!
What are we raising money for? To compete in the New Balance Outdoor National Track and Field Championships in Greensboro, NC.
Where does the money go? Entry fees, uniforms, travel expenses, hotel expenses.
Why do we need the money? This meet occurs after the high school season has ended, so our school can't help us out. That's why we need you! During the indoor track season, we also qualified for this event, but, luckily, the meet was held close to home in NYC, so we were able to compete without much fundraising.
Why support us? The Roxbury Track and Field team has already accomplished so much this season and we would love to complete the season running at the biggest high school meet in the country. The girls are the current Morris County Indoor Champs, Morris County Relay Champs, State Sectional Champs, Indoor National Qualifiers and now Outdoor National Qualifiers. What better way to end the season than with this opportunity and to represent Roxbury with pride?
