Help my Daughter Stand up to Cancer

This is an appeal to raise money for my daughter and her new husband's life together as they stand up to cancer.

As a father, my children are the most important thing in my life. They bring so much joy, positivity and warmth to my world, and I would do anything to protect them. But in the past few months I have discovered that there are some things you simply can’t protect them from.

My daughter Nisha is bright, beautiful and bubbly. She had a fantastic role with an international company and had embarked upon a promising career. She was engaged to be married and had an amazing honeymoon planned where she and her new husband were going to travel across America. All that changed when she was diagnosed with an aggressive triple-negative breast cancer. She walked into the doctor’s room as one person and came out another entirely. The doctors told her that she had to cancel her honeymoon and her wedding reception, causing them to lose a significant amount of money. She was hospitalised and had to cancel her hen night, missing out on making those special memories. She has endured months of chemotherapy but has a hard road ahead of her, and is going to be having surgery around her 30th birthday.

Despite all the hardship and the physical side-effects she has faced, Nisha has been positive throughout. She and her husband went ahead with the wedding, and it was one of the greatest moments of my life to be able to give away my daughter on her wedding day. I know that I want to make sure that I continue to support her in any way I can. She has had so much stolen from her, but we have been determined not to let anything else be taken. I know that Nisha will get better. She will have the honeymoon that was taken from her, and the chance to live the life she has had to put on hold.

Nisha is soon going to face losing all her hair, and I am planning to shave my hair in solidarity with my daughter. This is  a big thing for a Sikh man like me to do, but I want to show her that I am still by her side, and that all things can be overcome.

Please consider donating some money to show your support of both me and my amazing, inspirational daughter. These funds will go towards giving them the wedding reception and the honeymoon they deserve. Most importantly, they will enable them to make memories they can treasure. Anything you can spare would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you,

Ross Singh

Hi everybody,

This week I finally shaved my head in support of my wonderful daughter! Whilst it was daunting at first, it was nothing compared to what she has faced over the last months.

I will be on the lookout for a decent hat this winter!

I want to say a heartfelt and sincere "thank you" to all of you who donated towards this. Your support has meant a great deal to me and my family.

Please take the time to share the campaign wider so that we can raise the funds to allow my daughter to achieve her goals and have a fantastic 2019.

Thank you once again.

Hi everybody,

This week has marked the end of my daughter's chemotherapy. She has fought so hard for eighteen weeks of treatment and has never stopped inspiring me. But she also has more ahead of her; she faces major surgery and radiotherapy over the next few months as she continues her fight against cancer.

This week is also the week where I will take the plunge and shave my hair! I will be sharing pictures for you all. Please, if you can, take the opportunity to help this campaign spread further so we can raise the funds to give my daughter her dreams.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to give you all an update. My daughter has started her second course of treatment. It has hit her hard and left her very unwell. She has now lost her hair and I will soon be following!

Nisha has recently been informed that her surgery will be extensive and very hard on her. She has a long road ahead of her and I am determined to walk it with her.

Thank you to those of you who have donated. If you have yet to donate, please help me to brave the shave and join my brave daughter!
