Rosie & Son: Hurricane Irma Relief

In this time of crisis, the U.S. Virgin islands, St. Thomas has been devasted by hurricane Irma. It would be MUCH appreciated if you could find it in your heart(s) to help out sister, mother amd dear friend (Rosemarie Bell) as well as her 8 year old son (Christian). It is going to be a lengthy process to rebuild for everyone on the island. We are thankful that Rosis and her son are OK and alive and well. But they need your help.
At this point no one on the Island has received help from the government or FEMA. The airport is close and the post office is not operating. Anything helps right now. Anything.
Rosie and her son have been living in St. Thomas for about three years now and this is their HOME. As you can see from the photo, the home and all their possessions are destroyed.
Communication is difficult right now due to power outages and lack of cell phone services. So no one knows at the moment if she wants/needs to come back to the States. But as we all know, she's the type of person that will stay and help everyone get back on their feet. Rosie will need help to recover and get back on her feet.

About the fundraiser: We are Rosie's close friends Rachel and Betsy we live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We have setup this fundraiser because our hearts our broken that our friend and her 8 year old have suffered such a loss (and this is after losing her mother less than a year ago- she has not parents to help her out). There is little we can do from Minnesota, but we can help raise funds to help them recover from this devastating loss. We cannot imagine losing everything We own in less than 24 hours. All funds raised in this fundraiser will go directly to Rosie. This is an effort to help her. Thank you.
