Rory's Life Saving Surgery
Tax deductible
Meet Rory, a male, yearling California sea lion, rescued in March from Pirates Cove in Malibu by California Wildlife Center.
Rory was suffering from a draining abscess near the base of his tail. Without his life saving surgery, he would have likely died from his injuries.
We don’t routinely perform surgeries due to a lack of space for surgery and post-operative recovery. In addition, each surgery requires us to spend a significant amount of time and resources on a single patient.
But when the outcome is potentially lifesaving, we do it.
Won't you help Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles help pay for this and other life saving surgeries for our rescued sick and injured patients? Thank you!
