Hey friends, this page has been created in response to all your asks to support the project monetarily and our desire to respond to them! Please contribute financially ONLY if you would desire to without us asking. Anything is appreciated; nothing is expected. Our medium is athletics - we will be out there to race, specifically the Pro Road Tour and USA Crit Series, preforming and redefining limits, but we believe in the power of the story, of people and positivity; what's behind the athlete? the preformance? What's between the races? Who are the humans? We want to hone our ability to appreciate and hear the stories that are unfolding around us and exert ourselves to craft our own. As part of our belief and mission, instead of sending you something for your donations we are asking you to pick from one of the proposed ways to give back (examples below, more coming). Our goal is a fusion of high preformance and the high life. We believe goals should be empowering and athletics a template for everyday life, so help us get moving and move along with us, building each other to be the best.
WHAT WE'RE UP TO:We will be traveling the country in a van racing about 40 bike races each this season. We will be meeting people where they are at and hearing them out - on the bike (we will be riding A LOT of miles) and off (we will be eating and recovering A LOT). We will rolling while we listen and laughing while we pedal, absorbing each person and learning the culture of each place we go as we weave them together to see a tapastry of cycling and community - the in-between.
Proposed give-back (donation level):
- personalized post card sent to rad human of your choice ($20)
- swim lesson taught by Melissa* ($75)
- 1 hour video chat on topics of your choice ex: training, racing, travel, etc ($75)
- community run led by us* ($100)
- group ride with a local club of your choice + hangout led by us* ($250)
-mobile mechanic -a home visit to acess and tune bike* ($300)
- mechanics seminar taught by Sean, a professional bicycle mechanic* (350)
-night in the van* ($1000)
* keep in mind, in-person give backs depend on region and time of year and are open to discussion :)
