Help Homeless Singer and Songwriter
My name is Bhanu Vikram. I am a Station Agent at the Powell BART station in San Francisco. I created this campaign to help Mr. Ron Kemp.
Ron is one of the best street singers of San Francisco. He sings at various busy spots around the city including BART stations. His music is soulful, beautiful and heart-touching.
Ron has been homeless since a year. He left San Francisco many years ago, and came back from Maryland in October of 2016. Since then he sleeps in his car. The nights are freezing and the heater doesn't work as the car needs a new radiator. He hasn't been able to save enough money to make a deposit for an apartment.
Ron is truly a one of a kind gentleman who deserves your help. While he is not working, Ron has spent hundreds of hours trying to create awareness about bullying and teen suicides. He is grateful for everything and intends to continue his good work.
Ron is hoping to buy a used RV if this fundraiser becomes a success. With an RV, he can practice his music without disturbing neighbors. He will be able to maintain the RV with the tips he makes as a singer.
