Ronald J. Mount Memorial Fund

Tax deductible
Ronald J. Mount (Ronnie) formerly of Short Hills, NJ, was a lifelong philanthropist and all around great man who passed away too soon on April 23, 2015 at his home in Naples, Florida.    A docent at Turtle Back Zoo for years,  an active member of the Zoological Society of New Jersey and a generous patron, Ronnie loved the zoo and all it offered the community.  As a 2013 honoree at the Zoo's 50th Anniversary Gala, Ronnie was recognized for his continual commitment to the zoo and graciously accepted this award with his family cheering him on.

While Ronnie was involved in many charities, the zoo and  what it brought to the community was one of his favorites.  He felt immense pride as he was personally involved in its' growth from a small scale local attraction to the world class zoo it is today .

Rene & Heather Mount, along with the Zoological Society of New Jersey and Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo Jr. want to honor Ronnie's life and dedication with more exciting programs for the Turtle Back Zoo and build a Lion Exhibit at Turtle Back Zoo!

In honor of Ronald J. Mount ,  please donate and help raise the funds to build a Lion Exhibit at Turtle Back Zoo!  No amount is too small and all donations are tax deductible.
