In the early morning of May 6th, 2018, my father's 50th birthday, he was rushed to the hospital due to a pain he felt in his chest, and numbness in his left arm & leg. Upon examination from medical professionals, they had concluded that it wasn't in fact a heart attack, but was that his aorta, the main artery of the body, had torn from his heart all the way down to his left leg. The exact cause of this condition is unknown, seeing as my father is a hardworking man in good health. Luckily, he survived the risky open heart surgery performed by the caring hands of the folks at Hendricks Medical Center in Abilene, TX, however, we are still not completely out of the woods. They are worried that the weak pulse in his left leg may result in the need for amputation, unless they can increase the blood flow with a stint, or a bypass from his right leg which would require transportation to a larger facility in Austin or Dallas. My father is a good man who has spent most of his life in the service of his country, as a veteran of the United States Army, and for over 20 years in law enforcement. But mostly importantly, he is a loving husband, and father of 8. It seems that God still has plans for him to remain with us, and take care of us as he always has. I humbly ask that you help support Ron Hall during his recovery, and our family in our time of dire need, in any way possible. Thank you, and God bless.
