Rolling Stock Employee Fund

We are Rolling Stock, a long-time San Francisco small business and cultural institution.   We've been located in the Mission District since 1988.  

Over the past 27 years we have served the community through providing tires, wheels, and related automotive services at an affordable price, while taking care of those who work for us, our Rolling Stock Team.

On Sunday, November 8 at 7:48 AM we got a call from a neighor that our shop was on fire.  One hundred and ten SFFD firefighters worked hard to save the shop, but the building could not be saved. Everything has been lost.  We are devastated.  

Tragically, within a couple hours twenty local, hard-working, dedicated, long-time, non-union tire techs, welders, wheel repair specialists, sales people and office staff lost their livelihood.  Some of our employees have worked for Rolling Stock for over 20 years.

We are asking for your help during this time of uncertainty, to raise money to assure that each of our employees has a cushion to make it through the holidays, pay their rent and provide for their families.

We are so grateful for the support we have received thus far.  

Thank you for coming to our shop, standing in the cold and offering hugs while we watched it burn.  

Thank you for bringing coffee & donuts.  Thank you for bringing us food.  Thank you for the calls and texts, emails, FB/ tweets/ IG posts.

Thank you for showing up.
