Sophia Roh is a third-grader at the UCLA Lab School. On January 9, 2019, Sophia's father Seong died unexpectedly. Her mother Sun had already passed away last spring from an extended illness. Sophia's older brothers, Justin and Robert, are 21 and 19, respectively. Their savings are very limited and they have no other family in the United States.
Sophia is a funny and happy child who loves to spend time with her brothers and friends. She adores the Harry Potter series, loves to read and loves playing games. Robert is a freshman at USC studying Business Administration. He graduated on scholarship from Woodberry Forest School in Virginia in 2018. Justin had been enrolled in Santa Monica College. He is currently taking leave from school to try and support the family.
Sophia and her brothers need a new place to live by February 24th, and enough money to afford rent, food, and transportation for at least the next year. Please donate generously. If you have additional housing, legal, employment, or automotive resources, please contact Justin at [email redacted].

Exciting news! A very generous family has donated two tickets to this weekend's Super Bowl game, with all proceeds going to support Sophia, Robert and Justin Roh. UPDATE (1/19/2019):
Thanks to all of your love and tremendous support, we have doubled our original goal of $75,000 for immediate needs in the coming year. This outpouring of donations have exceeded our expectations, and we are grateful beyond words. Now we are raising the goal to set our sights on longer-term plans for the Roh family. Though this year has been taken care of, Sophia and Robert still have years of education ahead of them: their future is still very uncertain. We are targeting a new goal of $200,000, which we hope to surpass in order to fund their schooling. Any help you can provide here will give them the security they need moving forward.
