The Rocky Mountain ThunderKatz will play this season with the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) in the Mountain West Division.  The WFA was designed to create the largest and most competitive women’s tackle football league in the world.  Women’s tackle football teams and leagues have been in existence for over four decades, but the most promising growth in the sport – both in the number of teams and in the level of competition – has taken place over the last five years.

The Rocky Mountain ThunderKatz are a Colorado Non Profit Corporation (20171019444), that has been in existence since 2011.  We are committed to providing a first class experience for our athletes. The ThunderKatz continue to advance the cause of women’s athletics by providing female athletes an opportunity to play football.  We are dedicated to producing an outstanding football organization in the city of Colorado Springs, CO.

In the operation of our team, the Katz incur numerous expenses including;

Practice Facilities Rentals
Home Field Facility Rentals
Travel Expenses to Out of State Away Games
Franchise Fees and Other Operating Cost
