Robert (Bobby) Pool, 32 years old. Husband of Tara Jones Pool and father of 6 children just had a massive heart attack.
Bobby collapsed and his wife, Tara called 911 and began CPR.
There was still no heartbeat when paramedics arrived.
It took the medics 6 times using the AED to get a faint pulse.
They transported him to the hospital where an angioplasty was performed. The found 100% blockage at the rear of the heart. They also put a stent in.
Bobby is now in ICU in critical condition. He has swelling on the brain and his liver and kidney levels are high.
They are keeping him heavily sedated and are putting him in hypothermia to cool the body down so the organs can regain proper function and so the swelling on the brain goes down.
The dr says there is a chance of another imminent heart attack because of the trauma.
With Bobby not having oxygen and blood flow thru the body, there may be brain damage. We will know more as time passes. Please keep Bob Jr and our family in your prayers.
