Robbery in Italy (lost everything ) - seeking help

My wife Jennifer is an artist  & travel blogger  and we have been on vacation in Italy for the past 2 weeks. Unfortunately, we were robbed (in a place called Mis an hour or so from Venice) on Friday and we lost absolutely everything (the Police believe an Eastern European gang were behind the robbery).

We are very lucky to not be hurt or injured, but unfortunately we have lost absolutely everything (laptops, tablets, phones, cameras, passports, driving licenses, credit cards, a large amount of cash, clothes, luggage) - literally all we have are the clothes we are standing up in.

We have (after 4 days!) received emergency repatriation to the UK and are now working with the US Embassy to obtain emergency passports for repatriation to the US, but have already incurred around $4,500 in costs and have had to borrow money from friends and family to get us out of the immediate problem and pay for hotels, flights, documentation, phone calls, temporary phone etc. as we have absolutely nothing other than the clothes we are wearing.

We have spoken to our travel insurance company and it appears we are covered for everything except robbery; if the airline had lost our luggage we would have had several hundred dollars in coverage but unfortunately the travel policy has no coverage for robbery :-(

We estimate to replace clothes, electronics, luggage, clothes, passports, IDs and everything else it will cost around $30,000 :-(
