Rob Morneau's Fundraiser

$79,988 of $20,000 goal

Raised by 694 people in 28 months
On Thursday November 3rd, tragedy struck the Windsor and Riverside community. Rob Morneau, beloved father, husband, brother, son, and of course friend to many, passed away from a tragic industrial accident at the age of 44. Rob leaves behind his wife Tricia and his two young boys, Noah and Christian. Rob is a well known figure around Riverside with his dedication to youth sports and various community activities. Many people know Rob from his coaching countless baseball and hockey teams in Riverside. Rob will always be remembered for his contagious laugh, kindness to all he met, and his bright smile that could light up any room. Many of us have decided to set up this fund for Rob's family, after several in the community have asked how they can help carry on his legacy and support his young family. This is particularly important, as Tricia is facing health challenges of her own as she continues to wage a courageous battle with cancer.

We are grateful to any and all who express their support for Tricia and the boys in any way.

We just found out about Rob's passing today. We are sorry for your loss. We had come to know Rob through the baseball world when our NY Blues 2004 played the great Riverside Teams. Rob was a class act who was so kind to all our players and coaches. He was a special man and I will always remember him saying something special to my son, Josh McGuin - "You are a great ball player, but a better kid, which his more important. Keep it up". My son will hold those words from Rob forever.
