I NEED YOUR HELP TO ACHIEVE MY DREAM
Since I began my apprenticeship, and first watched the Bocuse d'Or in Lyon, it has been my dream to represent Australia at this prestigious competition.
The Bocuse d'Or is a biennial International Cooking Competition, our industry's equivalent of the Olympic Games. Every 2 years, 24 of the most talented chefs around the world converge on Lyon to battle it out for the prize of world's best chef, and the statue of the Bocuse d'Or.
As a team, our journey has been tedious, and the challenge will only become greater over the following 8 months.
Coming off the back of a first ever podium result in Singapore at the Asia-Pacific continental contest, the Australian team is in a unique situation to improve upon its best ever result of 12th position.
I am working for, and being mentored by, a previous winner of this competition, Serge Vieira. He will be my coach for the competition, and by my side every step of the way. Along with my commis, Ryan Cosentino, who won the award for best assistant in Singapore, we have our eyes firmly set on Gold in Lyon.

Degustation for 4 people at location of your choice
Australian Candidate for the Bocuse d'Or, Dan Arnold, will come to a location of your choice and prepare a degustation menu for you and 3 of your guests.

Depuis que j’ai commence mon apprentissage, et vu pour la premiere fois le Bocuse d’Or a Lyon, je reve de representer mon pays a cette prestigieuse competition.
Le Bocuse d’Or est un concours de cuisine qui a lieu tous les deux ans, l’equivalent des Jeux Olympiques dans l’industrie de la cuisine.
Chaque annee impaire, 24 des cuisiniers les plus talentueux, viennent des quatres coins de la planete, et se retrouvent a Lyon afin d’en decoudre et d’obtenir le titre de meilleur cuisinier au monde et la statue du Bocuse d’Or.
En tant qu’equipe, jusqu’ici notre aventure a ete ardue, et le defi ne cessera d’augmenter au cours des mois qui precederont la competition.
Ayant pour la toute premiere fois obtenu une position sur le podium a la Competition Continentale de l’Asie/ Pacifique, l’equipe Australienne a plus que jamais une situation unique afin d’ameliorer son meilleur resultat obtenu jusque la (12eme place) .
Je travaille et ait pour mentor un vainqueur de cette competition: Serge Vieira. Il sera mon Coach pour ce concours et a mes cotes tout au long du chemin. Avec mon assistant, Ryan Cosentino, qui a remporte le prix du meilleur commis a Singapour, nous avons les yeux rives sur la premiere place a Lyon.
Afin de rivaliser avec les nations les plus fortes au monde, nous avons besoin de votre aide. Un don de n’importe quel montant contribuera grandement a nous aider avec les produits d’entrainement, l’equipement, et la fabrication d’un plateau de presentation a couper le souffle.
