To help a talented young Zimbabwean showcase his talent at the Worlds Championships in Hollywood!

On the 14th of October 2017, Daniel Nxumalo was selected to compete in the World Championships of
Performing Arts representing the nation of Zimbabwe. On the 2nd of July 2018, He will be travelling to Long Beach, California (Hollywood) to perform in the Actors category. Daniel is very passionate about acting and sees it as being able to use his gifts to send a positive message to young people out there in today's fast paced world, and also being able to tell the stories of the voiceless through film. He is goal driven and committed to taking his career as far as possible. He has had great experience performing in lead roles in various school plays as well as performing at drama festivals which have earned him national recognition and numerous awards for his performances. This is the only competition of its kind and is being critically acclaimed as the "Olympics" for the Performing Arts. There will be prizes on offer, scholarships from varies schools and universities as well as being able to meet agents  and professionals looking for young talent. With Zimbabwean born American actress, Danai Gurira, lighting up the world with her performance in the critically acclaimed movie Black Panther, Daniel hopes to soon follow in her footsteps and destroy the stereotypes about not only Zimbabweans but also Africans as a whole through film.
For this to happen, Daniel is required to fundraise to travel to the World Championships. To find out more about the Competition itself and team ZICOPA, please visit the following :
