Competing for AUSTRALIA in
LAHTI 2017 World Championships
and
2018 Winter Olympics
Firstly I would like to thank each and everyone of you who have helped me on my way to become an Australian citizen so that I may represent Australia in the next World Championship 2017 and PyoengChang Olympics 2018.
And now, EXCITING NEWS - I officially became an Australian citizen and Australian passport holder on the 7th of October 2017 - now I can represent Australia in the upcoming European season of Visma Ski Classic, World Cup, World Championship in Lahti and Winter Olympic Games 2018.
I’ve been reselected on the Pioneer Investment - Pro Team with Lukas Bauer (CZE) and we are competing in the Visma Ski Classic circuit around Europe. If you want to watch the races live visit:

I will join my team at the Team Training Camp in Sweden in the beginning of November.
The season for me will start on 27th Nov and I will be competing in almost all of the Visma Ski Classics races.
Secondly I will represent Australia XC at the DAVOS World Cup on 10th DECEMBER and then I’m planning to start my 7th 'Tour De Ski' ( I've completed in 6 full TDS in my career, the last one being in season 2013/2014 ) - find attached racing plan.
I have recently discovered that I will need to finance Davos WC and all TDS competitions myself ( coach, accommodation, travel costs, ski technician, airfares,training camps, ...) The costs are around $10.000 . I've saved as much as I could in my last season in Perisher, but unfortunately there is still a shortfall.
I’m prepared to do my utmost for Australian Cross Country Skiing, to be the absolute best I can be and to help contribute to a brighter future for all Australian athletes and recreational skiers alike.
I would like to ask for your assistance in helping me reach my 2017 goals and would be most grateful to have you on board and share my results with you.
