- Pets for Patients works with families to understand how a pet might fit into their lives. For some finding the right dog or cat can be difficult. For others it may just be a social visit of a pet or time to hold and love a pet. For others it is exploring if a pet makes sense at this time in their life. We can help you identify the right pet or just explore the options. Each family and patient is unique. Pets for Patients selects local shelter , rescues and private breeders to make every patient and family pet dreams come true.
How It Works-
Pets For Patients draws from a broad source of pets including shelters, private adoptions and rescues. We are a non-profit organization with expertise in animal care, training and animal personalities. We strive to make our pets and patients happy with a customized assessment of your needs and pet desires as well as exploring and planning for limitations and time constraints. Pets for Patients also provides home visits , phone support and regular calls during adoption period and beyond... with no cost spay/neutering, up to date vaccinations and basic obedience training through our fundraising efforts and community support .
