RMDHouse Charlotte Aquarium Upgrade

Donation protected
Our club the Reef Aquarium Society of Charlotte (NC) has accepted the responsibility of maintaining the 150 gallon saltwater tank that was donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte. Ronald McDonald House offers a wonderful service to the families with sick children in Charlotte area hospitals, by offering them a place to stay.
Our club wants to make this aquarium something special for the families that stay there.  We want to make this aquarium a source of peace, calm, and pleasure and possibly help the families temporarily forget their worries. To achieve this goal, the club needs to make upgrades to the tank.
The most needed improvement on this aquarium is the lighting. Right now it has DIY LEDs that continually lose lenses every time we clean the tank and do not provide adequate lighting. Once we upgrade the lights, we will be able to add corals and some fish and clean-up crew.  In addition to adding new lights, we will replace the existing canopy so that it can house the new lights and to make access to the tank itself easier. The aquarium will also be given new substrate.
This is the plan on how we will use your donations. Our club is ready to get started, we just need the funds.........
Please help RASOC  make this aquarium a beautiful addition to the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte and give their house guest pleasure and peace.
