Assistance for an elderly woman

This morning I met with a very fragile, elderly woman in need of assistance. Her husband is deceased and she has no children. She believes that she is the victim of identity theft and that her SSA Retirement/Survivor benefits are being held back. Of course, this is her only income. She has been living without electricity since December, has no telephone, no vehicle, and is behind on her rent. Because she has fallen behind, her landlord is charging late fees and attorney's fees and threatening eviction.

I am helping her sort things out and am not taking a fee. I am asking the community to give if they can to help this woman get back on her feet.
