Rivette Family Fire Fund

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

I am raising money for an amazing family who lost their home and 98% of their belongings in a relentless house fire which occurred on May 30, 2016 around 3am. The house sustained substantial fire, smoke, and water damage.

The owners of the house are Chief Blair Rivette and Celeste Richard who live there with Celeste’s’ two children, Peyton and Alex. Peyton is a freshman at the University of Lafayette Louisiana and Alex is is going into his senior year at Comeaux High. Peyton is the one who woke up and saw the fire and she was able to wake everyone up and get them safely outside the house before anyone was injured. While they are uninjured they have lost everything inside the house. Thankfully those items can be replaced which is why I created this in hopes that we will be able to pull together as a community and help these people.

Chief Blair Rivette is the Fire Chief in Youngsville, LA. He is someone who would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. And usually its him on the other side of the hose in full gear to save your house, or to help your family member who is having a medical issue. Chief Rivette has been in the fire service for 29 years and he has fought for his city to get the fire protection that we need. When Chief Rivette is not at the Youngsvile Fire Department he is on shift at the Chitimacha Fire Department. His dedication and passion for the job is one that encourages those around him to do better and always keep learning and getting better. Celeste is also a dedicated member of the Youngsville Fire Department in the Fire Corps.

I met this family four years ago when I met my husband Lieutenant Bolgiano and now I feel like an adopted daughter, this is how Blair and Celeste treat you when they meet you. I married into the fire department and gained another family, and I am asking from the bottom of my heart if you can help these people in any way please do. I have never met anyone so generous and dedicated to their community as these two are.
