Rivendell's Cycling Trip to Quebec

Dear Supporters,
This year students and staff are planning Rivendell Academy’s first ever student cycling tour from Orford, NH to Quebec City, Quebec. RA is an interstate public high school serving the communities of Orford, NH and Fairlee, West Fairlee and Vershire, VT. This epic adventure will begin the day after school ends in June, and it will take two weeks to ride the 600 mile round trip distance. This is a new addition to Rivendell’s global adventures that are meant to challenge and inspire student learning, confidence, and global awareness.
Because this is a new endeavour, we are starting from the ground up with our fundraising. Students will need bicycles, safety gear, and cycling specific clothing. Other trip expenses include campgrounds, food, van support, and a two night hostel stay in Quebec City. With that in mind, we are seeking financial support of approximately $5000 .
At this point there are 10 students who have already begun training, planning, and fundraising for this life changing adventure. We are very grateful for any support you can offer.
