College, it’s expensive. While student aid is available, it has limits. I’m about to reach that limit. I’m only twelve classes and 33 credits shy of graduating. The finish line is in sight, but I can’t cross it without a little help from my friends.
This is where you can help.
My name is Riley Joyce. I’m a psychology student at Point Park University. My goal is to become a therapist (I’m intending to work with individuals, couples, and youth). For me to reach that goal I must finish my undergraduate studies first. I’m nearing the completion of my Bachelors, but there’s a shortfall in funding. The student aid has almost run out! So, I need your help. In exchange I have some entertaining rewards.
Any amount is appreciated. But I’m offering rewards for different donation levels. Think of it as the donation levels for PBS, but without the constant pledge drives, or reruns of Lawrence Welk.
$5.00-$15.00 donation—A personalized “Thank you” note/card. It’ll be signed, sealed, delivered by me.
$20.00-$30.00 donation—A poem based on the subject of your choice. Delivered via email. Keep it classy, people!
$40.00-$50.00 donation—A short story based on the subject of your choice. You provide the topic, and I’ll write the story. It can be humorous, or serious.
$60.00-$80.00 donation—a personalized song written by me. You choose the topic, and I’ll do my best.
$90.00-$100.00—A Skype conversation with me for one hour. You can ask me about psychology, humor, or literature for one hour. Let me entertain you while we have some tea (bring your own brew).
$200-$500.00—A character named for you in the novel I’m writing. You’ll also get a dedication at the front of the book! Novel is of a tasteful, humorous nature. It’s about relationships.
$1000.00 and above!—Combination: Skype conversation, a character named for you, and a dedication. Along with a “thank you” letter, and a short story of your chosen topic.
With your help I can achieve my goals of becoming a therapist, and helping others to heal with insight, humor, and understanding.
The goal is $24,000. International donations are accepted as well.
