Ride the divide for animals

Welcome to my fundraising page!
100% of what i make will go to the 2 nonprofits listed below. (i will be covering all of my own food/gear/travel costs, and i have a sweet support team -all volunteering as well)
As of July 1st, 2016, i am heading off on a 3 month, epic (mostly solo) 2,750+ mile bikepack on the worlds longest off-pavement route. It runs from Banff, Canada to Antelope Wells, NM (on the Mexican border) and it's called the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. It crosses the divide 32 times and has over 200,000 ft of elevation gain -the equivalent of climbing Everest 7X.
I am a caring, ethical vegan who appreciates the work of factory farm undercover investigators. (Exposing the abuse that runs rampant throughout the animal agriculture industry is critical.) Since I can't imagine being in their shoes, I am doing this ride to raise $ for their work to continue.
Ultimately i am doing this for all farmed animals! (Animals killed worldwide just for Americans' food in 2009 was 8.3 billion land animals and 51 billion sea animals.)(more than 150 billion worldwide.)
I want to help raise awareness of their existance so they (and their by-products) stop ending up on a plate. I want to expose their unnecessary suffering. I want to inspire others to make compassionate, vegan lifestyle choices. I want to live in a world where compassion towards all species and our planet outshines our human centered choices.

donation suggestions:
$.005/mile = 13.75
$.01/ mile = $27.50
$1000 =laptop computer for investigator,
press conference room and audio visual set up, or
round trip air fare to meet with law enforcement.
$500 =long zoom camera for surveillance or
one way air fare to meet with law enforcement.
$250 =investigations video production cost, including voice actor fee or 1 week of lodging for an investigator.
$150 = chrome book for investigators
$100 =giant posters for a press conference or
year of secure file sharing service fees.
$75 =a pair of work boots, external hard drive for video storage
$60 = 1 month of website hosting
$50 =health and safety equipment for one investigation (ie masks, coveralls)
$25 =burner phone or set of SD cards (memory cards for recording video)
