Rico Constantino  HENDERSON, NV
Rico Constantino is living proof that dreams are not limited by age, and perseverance coupled with determination can make goals reachable and attainable. Rico can be called an "overachiever". He graduated at the top of his class in the U.S. Naval Academy, and endeavored in the career of a police officer before testing himself in more physically challenging careers.

He made his television exposure by becoming a contestant on the American Gladiators in 1990, winning his particular round and advancing to the Grand Championship.

In 1998, at nearly 37 years old, Constantino was in phenomenal shape and began his professional wrestling career. He then became one of the marquee names during the WWE "Ruthless Aggression" era, portraying a hair stylist as "Rico", and managing the tag team known as 3 Minute Warning.

Rico did not stop as a manager, though. We would then use his wrestling talent to become a two-time WWE Tag Team Champion, and defeating legendary names such as WWE Hall of Famers Ric Flair and Rikishi.

After leaving WWE, Rico would return to law enforcement, and become one of the most respect officers in the state of Nevada.

Unfortunately, the constant physical toll involved with professional wrestling caused severe health issues. Within the past year, Rico has visited the doctor five times, and was forced to stay twice. He has two leaky heart valves and two blood clots, and traumatic brain issues.

As professional wrestling fans, let us rally behind Rico to change this state of declining health to transform into the name of this WWE theme song - "You Look So Good to Me."

PLEASE donate and share. Let's show the world how strong and unified wrestling fans can be, and makes these medical bills and health issues tapout.

Update 2

I would like to say hello to all my fans / now friends. I would like to keep you all updated on what's going on with tests and my progress. I have to do physical therapy 3 times a week to handle my balance issues and my arms and legs going numb or having seizures. This week I have two tests coming up from my primary care physician. 1 of ultrasounding my chest cavity to see what my heart and other organs are doing along with a battery of x-rays. The next week my new neurologist has scheduled me for 2 test and the funny thing is that the names are so bad, I can't even pronounce them LOL. I don't know if I informed you on my last update but I suffer from daily migraine headaches. The medication that they just gave me has not helped. The neurologist said there is a procedure that works very well and would knock my headache ratio from nearly every day to maybe four a month. I said sign me up immediately! So when I asked him what the medication was he told me it was Botox. And I replied the stuff plastic surgeons use on people to get rid of wrinkles on their face and he said yes and I asked how is that going to work for me. He said I receive a shot on either side of my head, two shots on the back of my head, two shots on either side of my neck and one shot in each trapezius muscle. And I told the doctor if it doesn't help at least I look a lot younger! LOL. LMAO. A full diagnosis report has not come in due to me switching primary care physicians and neurologist. The past two were not willing to fill out the forms I need to process my claim properly. Now on to the next subject , and this is very important from to all you! The truth is I really don't know how to operate Facebook, sign up on this page but I don't understand social media very well but I understand this GoFundMe and how to thank everybody when I receive a donation or comments of support. And what I want to say to all of you out there is that its not the amount that you give, some people give a lot in some people give what they can. But in my heart it's the thought that counts, it brings tears to my eyes that so many people have not forgotten me and have banned together to help me get through one of the hardest times in my life. Because in truth, it was all of you that got my character is over and WWE it wasn't Vince or anybody else I did what I did that and all of you responded and to see all the smiles on your face after I did my little hiding the ring get me going for the seven years I was allowed to entertain all of you. God bless all of you and your families and thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. When I get some more news on my condition I promise I will update you all.

My name is Americo Sebastiano Costantino, my stage name for WWE was Rico, Rico the stylist and Rico Constantino. I'm from Las Vegas Nevada. I took ill June 2015 which landed me in the hospital where I was diagnosed with two leaking heart valves. February 2016 I was diagnosed with bilateral pulmonary emboli which landed me in the hospital. April 2016 I had another hospital visit with a serious case of pneumonia on top of the blood clots. Now I'm being treated by a neurologist for CTE. I just spent another stay in the hospital from September 27th until my birthday of October 1st due to my blood pressure sinking to 70 over 40 do to my heart not receiving the proper amount of oxygen to operate. The donations that I received from the GoFundMe page are used to pay my medical expenses and insurance payments so I can continue taking medication to help me with my conditions. I am in the process of working out with the state of Nevada for a long-term disability or medically retire I just need a little help until the state of Nevada makes up their mind. And I would like to think all the people who have donated Tumi for all the expenses that I have heard

I know Rico from his career as a TA officer in Vegas (not from wrestling). He is also a personal friend of my son. Rico is a 1 in a million person, a fine upstanding man with good morals and a heart of gold. He is also very humble and loves people and has his priorities straight. I am very sorry to hear that he has not been feeling well. If you donate to help this man, you are sowing seed in good soil.

Rico vs Hardcore Holly on Smackdown in 2004 was the first ever wrestling match I saw when I switched it on one morning on Sky Sports. I've loved the wrestling product since then and watch it religiously. Wrestling has become the constant in my life and this match set my 5 year old imagination spinning wildly with excitement. I never forgot who the first wrestler I saw walk down the entrance ramp was. Best of luck to you Rico. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKyaEUWiEig
