On Saturday, my daddy Rick "Rico", "Monk" McGregor passed away.
My dad has been battling many different illnessess for the past 5 years including Leukemia (been in remission!), kidney disease, many infections, hip and knee replacement and complications from diabetes. He would probably hate that i am mentioning all this but i am very proud and amazed of all that he went through to keep living.

If you knew my dad, you would know that he loved life and enjoyed every minute. I used to say that he went through so many phases in life and wanted to try everything - we were boaters, campers, farmers (kind of), beach bums and a biker. He had passion for everything he did.

He thoroughly enjoyed riding his two Harley Davidson motorcycles, especially his custom-built chopper. He had many tattoos but was very proud of his "non-typical" biker tattoo of a beach scene on his back and the newest one "Survivor".

My dad loved being Papa Rico to Mollie and Laila. He spent most of his time teaching her new things, which reminded me so much of how he was with me. Mollie loved when he and Buddy (his dog) came to visit and went swimming, out to eat, and played in the yard.

Lori, his long-time companion, will really miss him as they enjoyed their time together, riding the Harley's, going out, working on different projects and much more. I could never thank Lori enough for taking care of my dad and always being there for him and for me.

I am so thankful for the time i have spent with my dad - he is the reason I am who I am today. I am so proud to be his daughter, I love him and will miss him everyday.

My dad lived in the moment and didnt plan for this to happen so suddenly. For that reason, I created this go fund me account to help with funeral and medical expenses. If you can't afford to donate anything then please just share the link. Thank you so much for your support.
Cheers to you Daddio! May you rest in peace.
