This gofundme has been set up to support my uncle, Rick Bannerman, and his partner, Samantha Richert, who lost their home on January 25, 2016 due to a house fire. The rental home in the Skagit Valley town of Concrete, Washington  was a total loss and burnt to the ground completely. They lost all of their possessions, clothing, family heirlooms, pictures, etc. Their precious 3 cats are still missing and likely won't be found. Rick is a retired nurse was a medic in the Army and Sam is a museum and artifact curator who works for the National Parks Service. They were already in the process of buying their forever home and hope to be able to move in late February. They do have temporary housing at a ranger station through the National Parks but essentially will be starting over from scratch.
