Aid for Rick & Maddie

On Wednesday, May 11th my father Rickey and his wonderful dog Maddie were the victims of a house fire. They lost absolutely everything, my father was taken to the Doctor's Hospital in Georgia for intensive care burn units and surgery, and Maddie was taken to a vet in South Carolina.
My father sustained 3rd and 4th degree burns on his hands, arms, face and legs, that resulted in 5 and 1/2 hours surgery. His injuries were greatly exacerbated because he kept going in the house attempting to get Maddie out. She was terrorfied and kept running away, so he had to go back in 2 times attempting to get her out, which is why he sustained such severe burns.
Maddie sustained burns throughout her torso, legs, paws and the peds of her feet. She is currently being seen by an amazing vet in Cleveland, Ohio at the Northeast Ohio SPCA after not being properly treated by the vet in South Carolina.
My father and Maddie both have ongoing treatment and bills they will need to pay for to recover, including continued skin grafts for my father, treatments for the burns and loss of sensation and potentially crippiling injuries.
We ask that you contribute in anyway you can to help sustain their lives, pursue continued treatments and help them get on their feet. The medical bills are overwhelming, and they have little to no resources to draw from, as my father is on disability. Your help and contribution will truly make a difference in their lives, and help us to get the treatments we need for both my father, and Maddie.
