#RichStrong fight against Lymphoma

Donation protected
In 2015, my dad Rich Maringer was diagnosed with Stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma, a non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He endured many treatments and an intense, high-dose chemotherapy. It seemed to work and we were told he was in remission, so the next phase of treatment was an Autologous Stem-Cell transplant (his own cells).  This had him in the hospital for 15 days and there was a long 3 monthrecovery period.  It was not an easy thing to go through but my family & I were thrilled to learn it was a success and we were told that he showed no sign of Cancer.  Although we knew it might come back some day, little did we know that someday would be this soon.  My dad relapsed in late summer 2017 and at that time he started taking an oral medication called Imbruvika, a targeted therapy medication that has been working well.  The next step is to undergo another stem cell transplant, this time from an outside donor.

The transplant is scheduled for July 12th, and the recovery period this time around is up to 6 months. My family and I are asking for financial help to cover medical expenses and lost wages during this time. Anything helps, and if you are not able to donate, please help by sharing this page. Thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts.
