Richard Benson's Funeral Fund

It is great regret that we inform all our friends and family that Richard Benson, missing from St John, US Virgin Islands since Hurricane Irma ravaged the islands, has been found. We ask all of you that sent your heartfelt prayers and wishes on his safe return for your help now in the expenses his family will incur. The family needs help in travel expenses to get to St John to make his final arrangements. Richard's body was found in the British Virgin Islands and we have a ton of red tape and paperwork to complete before we can even transfer him back to US soil. I am Richard's ex-wife and I am helping our son, Daniel and his sisters with this horrific job. It is his families wish that his remains be cremated and his ashes returned to the sea that he loved so dearly. Please find it in your hearts to help his children to lay his soul to rest. His sailboat, the Goddess Athena, remains missing.
St John remains without power, not expected to have it until February. The people there are living without running water, flushing toilets, lights, cell phone service, and internet. Many have lost their homes, their cars, their jobs and are left with only the clothes on their backs.  PLEASE SHARE with your friends so that we can reach our goal and exceed it. Any moneys over and above the families expenses will go to help the people of St John recover from the devastation that Irma and Maria caused them.
