Summary
This conference is a world famous event held in a different country about once a decade or less. It was started in 1893. Now, it just so happens that the Parliament is coming to Salt Lake City THIS October!!

Please feel free to watch the video and take a look at the websites above. I hope you consider donating so that I can have the life changing opportunity to attend, grow, learn, and help make this world a better, more humble, and understanding place. This conference may very well be my life's dream, please help make it come true. Your contribution is greatly valued and will make an incredible difference in my life and our community.

About the Parliament
The Parliament is a part of the Global Faith Movement that strives to promote interfaith dialogue and find common ground among people of unique and beautiful backgrounds and faiths. It doesn't just deal with religion but also justice, peace, service, war, terrorism, hatred, climate change, wealth gap, wasteful consumption, women's rights, indigenous peoples and so much more! Attending this conference...having access to this wealth of knowledge and experience would be my life's dream come true.

The conference will have a wide variety of workshops, lectures, speakers (listed below), events, music, film, and amazing people from whom I can learn and grow as a caring human being. My goal is to gain experience, insight, and a better understanding of humanity so that I can then help make my community a more understanding place. By attending I get to be a part of the discussion for solving world peace issues.

Why Me?
This year I have the incredible opportunity of serving as a student leader in Baylor Formation's Cross-Cultural Ministry. I get to work with international students, graduate students, people of different socioeconomic, ethnic, national, and religious backgrounds. Through this organization I am striving to help create an environment at Baylor University that supports students of all backgrounds and does not judge, disrespect, or otherize those who are different from ourselves.

I will be attending alongside Baylor students from across campus (from the Honors College, Baylor & Beyond, International Students, Truett Seminary Grad students, Formation Staff, BIC Faculty and so many more). As an Indian Engineering student brought up in a Hindu household, I never thought I would be a part of Baylor Formation or that I would have the opportunity to attend this amazing conference.

So, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help fund this amazing adventure, help bring peace to the world, help make me a better person so I can spread that good and that knowledge to others. Every penny counts.

Much love and much thanks <3
