Jimmie's Tuition & Housing Funds

Throughout the past four years I've been excited and overwhelmed about graduating; the idea of going to a college of my chioce and someday becoming the successful young man many people have always told me I was destined to become. I knew that if I wanted to make my biggest supporters happy and someday become successful I had to make unpopular decisions in high school. Those decisions, whether it was choosing friends wisely or not doing something I enjoyed just to focus more on my acedemics, would put me in the best position to graduate and go to college. Now a senior at FCHS and less than a week from my big day, I look back and tell myself, "You made it".  I tell myself that I've not made it to the finish line but to a checkpoint in which I've worked so hard to reach. There is no way I could have gotten this far without the constant support of my family, friends, mentors, and most importantly GOD. You have all believed in me when I didn't even believe in myself. You all have truly been a blessing in my life. I now come to you all, not only to thank you all but to ask that you continue to sow a seed into my life and encourage me in this educational race. I've decided to stay here closer to you all for two years and recieve my AA degree and Florida State College at Jacksonville (South Campus). Whatever it is in your heart to sow, I will be most grateful and appreciative, not only because it will be an investment in my education, but a step in the right direction of becoming the successful man you have all inspired, encouraged and pushed me to be.
