REYNA'S FIGHT WITH LEUKEMIA! !

Once upon a time there was a little princess..... On November 16th, 2015 the vibrant, adorable, & definition of love, Reyna Makayla Rose Buckingham (4 years old) was diagnosed was Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. If you are not sure what this is, it is cancer of the blood and bone marrow that affect red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Essentially causing less room for healthy blood cells to grow and being able to fight infection. Fortunately and though a disheartening situation, it is curable! With chemotherapy having already begun, intense treatment in the years ahead, and countless bone marrow biopsies, blood transfusions, a number of spinal taps, limited physical contact or activity and eventually hair loss. Alongside these common effects of the cancer, is a single mother of two, determined to stay by my baby's side, forcing me to take an unpaid leave of absence from my job. That being said, my regular household bills continue to acquire as normal. So, please help us in rallying together to acquire any monetary donation, so that I Gretchen (mother) may be by my daughter's side in peace, while we are both learning a delicate and new way of living. Reyna is two months into her chemotherapy treatment and is doing well! If her chemotherapy stays on track she only has about seven more months of intense treatment left and she should be able to start kindergarten on time and join her big sister Madison Buckingham at Condit Elementary!
