REUSABLE NOTEBOOKS

Namaste world,

We are eight young adults currently volunteering in Kadapa, India for an organization called Aarti. The NGO takes care of socially disadvantaged youth, especially girls and young women who tend to be the most in need and at risk.

One of our goals is to make life more sustainable and eco-friendly in Aarti School and Aarti Village (children’s home).

Our idea is to provide all the kids with REUSABLE NOTEBOOKS.

Constant reuse of the same notebooks will decrease the need for buying and in the long run, producing new ones - it helps to reduce CO2 emissions. These notebooks will not be able to replace all the school materials, however, it still helps the kids to learn more diversely and therefore, efficiently.

If YOU are also convinced of the idea and would like to believe in equal rights of the children as well as for the environment, we would be very happy about a financial support. Any quantity, makes a world of a difference for the empowerment of these children and young women.

Wir Volunteers sind gerade vor Ort im indischen Kadapa im Aarti Projekt. Diese NGO setzt sich für sozial benachteiligte Kinder und Jugendliche ein, vor allem für Mädchen und heranwachsende Frauen.

Eines unserer Ziele ist es, das Leben in der “Aarti School” sowie im Heim “Aarti Village” für die Kinder nachhaltiger und umweltfreundlicher zu gestalten.

Eine unserer Ideen ist es den Kindern WIEDERVERWENDBARE NOTIZBÜCHER bereitzustellen.

Der ausschlaggebende Grund dafür ist die unbegrenzte Wiederverwendung des Buches, damit verringern wir den CO2-Ausstoßes und gleichzeitig schützen wir die Natur.

Dieses wiederverwendbare Notizbuch wird nicht alle Schulmaterialien ersetzen können, dennoch wird den Kindern die Möglichkeit gegeben effizienter und vielseitiger zu lernen.

Wenn auch DU von der Idee überzeugt bist und dich gerne sowohl für die Gleichberechtigung der Kinder als auch für die Umwelt einsetzen möchtest, würden wir uns sehr über eine finanzielle Unterstützung freuen. Jeder Euro zählt!

Meie oleme 8 eesti, saksa ja austria vabatahtlikku, kes elavad hetkel Indias, linnas nimega Kadapa ja töötavad organisatsioonis nimega Aarti. Tegemist on MTÜ-ga, mis aitab sotsiaalselt vähekindlustatud lapsi ja noori, eriti just tüdrukuid, kuna nemad kipuvad olema kõige enam puudust kannatavad.

Üks meie eesmärkidest on muuta Aarti kool ning Aarti küla (nii nimetatakse seda lastekodu) keskkonnasõbralikumaks ja jätkusuutlikumaks.

Soovime hankida kõigile lastele TAASKASUTATAVAD VIHIKUD. Nii ei pea pidevalt uusi muretsema, vihiku täis saades ei teki tarbetut prügi - Indias ei ole selle majandamisega teatavasti just head lood. Nii saab Aarti anda oma väikese panuse kasvuhoonegaaside vähendamiseks ja looduse puhtana hoidmiseks. Üks vihik 10 asemel säästab ju tegelikult ka raha, lihtsalt alguses on vaja pisut suuremat investeeringut. Lisaks saame lastele õpetada, et keskkonnahoid ja taaskasutus on lahedad!

Vihikud ei suuda kõiki õppematerjale täielikult asendada, küll aga annavad need lastele võimaluse mitmekülgsemaks ja seega ka tõhusamaks õppimiseks.

Ehk sulle meeldis meie idee? Võib-olla tahad isegi laste haridusteele kaasa aidata, lisaks veel keskkonda puhtana hoida? Sel juhul kuluks meile üks annetus väga ära. Suur või väike, vahet pole, meie ja lapsed oleme nii või teisiti tohutult tänulikud. Iga euro loeb!
