Reunite Tim with his drumset!

Hello folks! Thanks for visiting my GoFundMe page and taking a moment to read this.
I have a business plan to start offering drum recordings online. I have most everything I need already: a decent studio setup, good microphones, and so on. I also have one drum set already; however, I dream of being reunited with a drum set that has been a part of my musical history since my late teens: a 1963 Slingerland, a version of which is shown above.
This drum set entered my life during my time with the band howsyerdey, when the bass player bought it from an old blind drummer. It stayed with us through the years, traveling from Michigan to California with us in 1995.
After the band broke up, the drum set stayed for awhile in our sound engineer's studio. I went off to university, but soon thereafter I returned to get the drum set.
During my university years, this drum set saw many hours of use with the band oso. It traveled with us across the US and through California, lending it's warm sound to our heartwarming music for nearly 8 years. You can watch a video of oso here and listen to our albums here .
In 2010 I relocated to Berlin, Germany. In doing so, I sold almost all of my music gear: my baby grand piano and prized Soundcraft mixing board among them. However, there was no way I was going to sell this drum set, even though at the time it was too impractical to ship it Germany...not knowing where I would even sleep, let alone keep a drum set! I made arrangements to keep it safe and dry at a friend's house, where it has remained to this day.
Now the time has come to be reunited. This drum set needs to be played, deserves to be heard, with such a rich history (and not just mine, but the 30+ years before it entered my life!) waiting to express itself.
Therefore I humbly ask for your assistance in getting this prized possession from California to Berlin safely. I want it to be professionally crated and shipped to ensure it's safety...these drums are antiques and are not being made anymore!
As you can imagine, this is not a cheap endeavor. Most quotes I have received are between $800-1000.
