Return JJ - Supreme Court

Donation protected
This is the story of JJ, a 5 year old little boy born in Sao Paulo Brazil in 2011 to an Brazilian Mother and an American Father.
Soon after JJ was born the marriage dissolved and before JJ's first birthday his father had taken off, leaving his family in Brazil.
Joseph's mother took the role of Mother and Father and they went on to adjust to their lives together in Brazil and things were good.
About a year and half after the father had left Brazil Cintia was notified by her lawyer that he was back and wanted to see JJ .
At this point Cintia believed that it would be good for her son to know his father.
That proved to be a mistake because it soon became clear that he wasn't interested in a civilized shared custody relationship.
From that point on, this mother says that her nightmare began because this man used anything to attack her character and take away her credibility as a mother.
There were so many false accusations which the Brazilian courts investigated for 2 years. When the court finally granted full custody to the mother in Dec 2015 that would be the last time she would hear from her son. Shortly after losing custody of JJ, the father again vanishes but this time with her son..

Cintia then starts a desperate search for her son. She reaches out to everyone on her ex husbands family hoping someone would at least say that her son was safe but there was never a reply.

On April 2015 the American Central Authority reached out to Cintia because they believed they had located her son living in Provo Ut.

Within 2 days Cintia was here in the US for a hearing.
That day Cintia and JJ were reunited and there wasn't a dry eye witnessing the encounter.

We all rejoiced and were so grateful that she had her happy ending... or so we thought..

It seemed so clear and simple a kidnapper should have no rights right?

However it's been 9 months since that encounter and Cintia is still here fighting to take her son home and to get their lives back.

Her story has been an incredible story.

We have cried with her but also marveled at her strength and faith.
She is fighting for her God given right to be a mother.
A role that is uniquely hers and that she has always honored and never given up.

Anyone who has met Cintia can feel her love for her son even though she has been humiliated in this country, and has had to prove her innocence all over again here. This is an incredible trial personally and spiritually but she remains steadfast.
She shares with us that not only has she found her son but also a deeper and stronger relationship with her Heavenly Father.
He is very aware of her and her needs and has chosen the most wonderful angels to help her.

Not knowing the language, with no money or family here she has survived by the generosity of people like you who have fed and sheltered and clothed her and paid for her legal fees.

We now believe that her story is finally close to a happy ending and with this reality we still have a lot of legal fees to be paid and would like to ask anyone who visits our page to please make a small donation so we can help this mother go home with her son with a fresh start.
