Johan de Meij, composer of Symphony #1: The Lord of the Rings, has been commissioned to write a new musical composition to be premiered at Valparaiso University in November 2018 during a large international Tolkien conference.  The working title is Return to Myddle Erde (A Tolkien Triptych), and is inspired by a large, original three-piece artwork by Tom Loback titled the Ancalagon Triptych illustrating the War of Wrath between Morgoth and the Valar at the end of the First Age of Middle-earth.  Funds are required to pay for this commission, and all support (small or large) is welcome.  For those who contribute at the levels of $250, $500, or $1,000 or more, they will be recognized appropriately in the program at the premiere, and forever linked as a major contributor to this one-of-a-kind artistic event.  It is something to show your kids and grandkids in the future, that this new composition was commissioned by you and your donation!
