Restore Restituo
Donation protected
On September 18 a water main break at the corner of Thurman and Shenandoah in the Shaw Neighborhood caused a massive amount of water to flood into the basement of Restituo. Nicole McCormack, the owner of Restituo, had supplies for the restaurant as well as her pottery equipment, her music equipment and her personal belongings stored in that basement. They were all destroyed.
In the last few weeks Nicole has been getting everything cleaned up, including hiring professional cleaners because Restituo is a food establishment, to bring the restaurant back. During this time we learned that Restituo was the Riverfront Times winner for Best Coffee House for 2015 which only makes it more important that we support Nicole in bringing it back.
The purpose of this campaign is to help Nicole bring back the restaurant and to replace her pottery equipment including a wheel and a kiln, to replace her musical equipment including guitars and drum machines, and to replace her personal belongings.
