Help bring the horses home

Immediate assistance requested in the aftermath of the recent flooding in the Lake Station/Gary Indiana area. Our land has been severely affected by the recent flooding and our five horses and four ponies have been relocated to temporary alternative shelters while flood waters recede and repairs on the land, barn, and shelter take place. It is expected that our horses will not be able to return home for months. I would like to add that 1 of the hoses and the 4 ponies were rescued by us from situations where they were not being properly cared for.  Now we need your help to continue to provide a home for them.

A significant amount of property has been damaged by the flooding, and all our hay, corn, and sweet feed has been lost. Any assistance in funding beyond the cost of present boarding will be utilized in repairing damaged facilities, cleaning debris and potential pollutants from the pasture, and acquiring new feed for the animals. Our ultimate goal is to restore the land to viable conditions so we may bring our beloved ponies and horses home.
