Restore a 1943 DeHavilland Tiger Moth to flight
Donation protected
Our not for profit Foundation is dedicated to preserving and showcasing aviation history in the South Georgian Bay area. We have two WWII era trainers which we keep in flying condition and invite the interested public to experience what our brave veterans experienced when training for the RCAF in the 1940's.
Our 1943 DH98a Tiger Moth was damaged in an accident two years ago and we are restoring it to flying condition. At the same time we are repairing elements of the aircraft to ensure that it will fly for many years to come. We are a small organisation of 30 volunteers. We are dedicating our own funds and time to this project and we are hoping that any interested patrons may wish to help us. Our aim is to have the Moth back to flight and carrying passengers again in early summer 2019.
Will you help us?
