Chers amis : on m'a récemment donné l'occasion de reconstruire mon avenir en récupérant la succession "perdue", gardée secrète pendant 9 ans par des personnes ayant utilisé le secret et la dissimulation. En février j'ai découvert les Testaments de mon père et ma belle-mère, envoyés par les mêmes personnes ayant profité de la situation il y a des années. Cette subversion m'a empêché de prétendre à ma succession et a changé le cours de nos vies. En avril j'ai engagé un conseiller juridique dans l’Oregon. Une enquête d'état est en cours et un règlement en suspens, dont je suis à la fois témoin et demanderesse (partie civile). Je suis reconnaissante à un parent proche qui m'a aidé à payer l'avance, mais afin de poursuivre les démarches, je fais appel à vous tous. Sans votre aide, je ne pourrai pas couvrir les frais légaux pour arriver à la fin de ce projet.
Certains d'entre vous font partie de notre vie depuis longtemps, que vous soyez ici en France, ou rencontrés il y a longtemps à Laguna Beach, Crystal Cove, GPHS, Ashland, San Francisco… Certains connaissaient mon père (décédé en 2006), connaissent Amélia et sont au courant de nos circonstances et de notre histoire, et ont fait partie de nos vies tout au long de notre trajectoire. Alors que tant d'autres ont vécu une histoire semblable et n'ont jamais eu la chance de la rectifier, nous avons l’occasion de changer le cours de la nôtre.
J'ai l’intime conviction que le résultat de ce projet transformera nos avenirs, ma sœur incluse. Cela pourrait me permettre d'acheter mon appartement, de rembourser le prêt étudiant d’Amélia, et de continuer à l'aider à poursuivre ses études et ses efforts dans le domaine de la musique.
Je compte également commencer un blog sur le « détournement de succession », une plate-forme pour partager des informations et mon histoire afin d’aider d’autres à ne pas rester victimes des mêmes circonstances.

Dear friends: I have been given the opportunity to reconstruct our future by recuperating "lost" inheritance which was kept undercover for 9 years by those who could benefit from secrecy and dissimulation. In February I discovered the Wills of my father and step mother, sent by those who took advantage of the situation and have had the most to gain from it. This subversion prevented me from claiming my inheritance which has changed the course of our lives. In April I engaged legal counsel in Oregon. There is a state investigation and a pending settlement of which I am both witness/plaintiff . I am grateful to a close relative for helping me pay the retainer, but to enable this to go forward, I am reaching out to you all for help. Without it, I won’t be able to cover the legal fees to ensure the strong representation needed to rectify this wrongdoing. The amount needed includes upcoming travel expenses, 1st trip Oct 27th this year.
Some of you go way back in time : Laguna, Crystal Cove, GPHS, Ashland, SF, France. Some knew my father (who passed in 2006), know Amélia and are aware of our story and have shared and blessed our lives. Then there are others out like with a similar story that never got the chance that I've been given....to fight!
I have complete faith that the outcome of these cases will transform our futures, my sister's included. Concretely speaking: will allow me to buy my apartment, pay off Amélia’s student loan , continue helping her through her studies and pursue her musical journey. In the future, I would like to free up my time to start a blog about “inheritance highjacking”, a platform to share information and ways to avoid becoming victim of this calamity.
