Tragedy struck Valentine's day for our family when Williams life was taken in a vicious act of violence. William was only 17 and had his whole life ahead of him.
William is my nephew. Son of my sister Becky. And he meant the world to all of us. William was a happy, loving, energetic teenager with a huge heart and would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need.
I recall a time when he called his grandmother to check on her and she needed milk and bread. William insisted on leaving the house at 9`oclock in the evening and walking to the store to get these items. And then walked to her house to drop it off to her. That's just the kind of person he was. The heart he had for everyone.
Because my nephews life was taken so abruptly my family doesn't have the money to give William a proper burial. I Colleen, his Aunt, am setting this GoFundMe page in hopes that those who would like to see this young man get the service he deserves, will help with a donation.
No amount is too small. We are just eternally grateful for anything anyone would like to contribute.
No parent should ever have to bury their child. After all, we are supposed to out live our children...right?
