Respondiendo al Llamado / Answering the Call

¡Hola amigos! Con mucha alegría les comparto que he decidido… ¡seguir a Jesús!
Desde hace un tiempo, Dios ha puesto en mi corazón una inquietud muy grande de servirlo a Él en los que más sufren. Durante varios meses, he estado discerniendo esa llamada, y hoy el Espíritu Santo me anima a dar el siguiente paso.
Es tan grande el amor que Dios pone en mi corazón, que a través de mucha oración he decidido lanzarme a responder a ese amor en la vida consagrada. Hay tantas personas necesitadas de su amor y de conocer a Jesús, que Dios, en su infinita misericordia, me invita a colaborar con Él.
En los próximos meses de junio y julio, junto a otras chicas con la misma inquietud, estaremos participando de una experiencia comunitaria con la comunidad religiosa Siervas del Plan de Dios, en la cual he estado llevando este discernimiento, en Lima, Perú. Esta experiencia consiste en participar de la vida de la comunidad en todos los sentidos: servicio, vida comunitaria, oración, etc. Este tiempo es muy intenso, pero propicio, en el cual a través de la luz del Espíritu Santo, buscamos tener más claridad de la vocación que Dios nos ha regalado a cada una. Esta experiencia también precede al inicio de la etapa de formación en comunidad.
Este paso tan importante en mi vida requiere también ver aspectos en mi que van más allá de los espirituales, por ejemplo, practicarme una serie de evaluaciones médicas y psicológicas que enriquecerán mi discernimiento. Estas -como sabrán- son costosas, y sumadas al costo de vuelo, libros y uniformes necesarios para la formación son una cantidad fuera de mi alcance.
Es por eso que desde el fondo de mi corazón apelo a la generosidad del suyo, y espero puedan colaborar a medida de sus posibilidades. De antemano muchisimas gracias!! Sobre todo me encomiendo y encomiendo a todas las chicas que formarán parte de la experiencia comunitaria a sus oraciones ¡Tengan por seguro que ustedes estarán en las nuestras!

Hello friends! It is with great joy that I share with you that I have decided... to follow Jesus!!.
A while ago, God planted in my heart the desire to serve him in the most needed. Since a few months ago, I have been discerning this call, and today, the Holy Spirit has led me to give the next step.
The love I feel from God in my heart is so overwhelming, that all I want to do is to love him back. Through lots of prayer, the way I feel called to respond is through consecrated life. I have seen that there are so many people than need his love, and that need to know Jesus. God in his infinite mercy, invites me to collaborate with him.
During the months of June and July, myself, alongside with other girls with the same vocational longing, will be living a communitarian experience in Lima, Peru with the congregation Servants of the Plan of God, which is the congregation I have been discerning with. This experience consists on living with the sisters and sharing with them their everyday life including: service, prayer, and community life. This will be a beautiful and intense time where through the light of the Holy Spirit, we seek for more clarity about the vocation which God has given to each one of us. Also this communitarian experience precedes the start of formation in the community.
Such an important step requires for me to also deepen into other aspects of my life, not only spiritual ones, for example, I need to realize a series of medical and psychological evaluations, which will enrich my discernment. Those evaluations -as you know- have an elevated price, plus flight expenses, the cost of uniforms, books, and other things needed for the formation, sum up to a couple of thousands of dollars, which for now are out of my reach.
That is the reason why, from the bottom of my heart, I appeal to the generosity of yours to help me make it to the experience, so that I may continue to answer God's calling. Thank you so much!!
What I ask the most is for your prayers, and be sure that you are in mine!
