RESIST! Portland Distribution
RESIST forces that would divide us
RESIST!
RESIST the normalization of fascism
RESIST! will be published as a special issue of Gabe Fowler's tabloid newspaper, Smoke Signal. We are aiming to make the print version an all-women issue though we'll remain open-minded and we will consider all submissions. All submissions are be on the theme of political resistance to the forces of intolerance.
30,000 copies will be distributed for free on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2017, in Washington D.C. Further distribution will occur at the Women's March on January 21st and throughout the United States.

Help distribute Resist!
1) REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION ORGANIZER
Floating World Comics has agreed to receive 5,000 copies of the paper, shipped via freight on a pallet to our shop.
The cost to print and ship 5,000 papers is $1000. We have set up this fundraiser page to cover those expenses.
2) REGIONAL HELPER
We need your help in raising funds to receive the papers, and help with the physical distribution of papers in Portland and neighboring communities.
Floating World Comics (400 NW Couch St., Portland, OR) will serve as a distribution point for bundles of papers. We are expecting them to arrive the week before the inauguration. You are welcome to take as many papers as you can distribute.
If you are having a march on January 21st, be part of the street team to hand out papers to marchers and spectators. You can also help distribute the papers to coffee shops, records stores, public transit locations, and public buildings during the time of the Presidential inauguration and march on January 20 & 21.
Email [email redacted] with any further questions.
(Shipped rewards will not arrive before Jan. 20)
