Replace Stolen STEM/Arts Supplies

Jenks Academy for the Arts and Sciences is a public elementary school in the School District of Philadelphia serving students Kindergarten through 8th Grade from neighborhoods in Northwest Philadelphia. Most of these children come from economically challenged homes.
Sadly, a theft was discovered on June 7th at Jenks Academy. The theft occurred after hours and from several secured locations. Over $20,000 in merchandise was taken. Most items taken were newly purchased for the purpose of launching our whole school Robotics program as well as equipment for our annual school musical and Day of the Arts. This is a terrible loss to our children and programs at the school. The police are investigating the theft but have no leads.
Among the items taken were:
20 LEGO WeDo 2.0 Core Sets (Robotics) valued at $200 each
26 LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Core Sets (Robotics) valued at $412 each
3 Canon EOS Rebel T7i Digital Cameras valued at $1288 each
2 Shure BLX24/SM58 Handheld Wireless System with SM58 Capsule valued at $350 each
6 Headsets with transponder boxes
1 Optoma S341 DLP projector 3D and Kramer video splitter with 3 ports valued at $435 ($295 and $140)
The Friends of J.S. Jenks has set up this GoFundMe page in order to reach out to the community to raise funds towards replacing these items so that these programs can continue as planned in the Fall.
