Replace My Old Camera Body!
SHOW SEASON IS HERE! Are you competing on the hunter/jumper, dressage, or eventing circuit in the Pacific Northwest this summer? I’m a broke as a joke amateur photographer that plans to spend my summer snapping pics of equestrians and their pony partners in Washington state.
I don’t charge for my photos, but I always appreciate donations! I’m hoping to buy a new-to-me camera body by the end of summer, since the Nikon D40 I’m shooting with is over a decade old.
Want to check out some of my work? I've got a dedicated photography website for you to peruse! Want to request a private photoshoot or know of a show that I should check out? Shoot me a message through the Two Hearts One Oxer Facebook page!

Dear hunter horses/riders: how are you all so BEAUTIFUL? Hunters might not be my thing, but do you know what is? ALL OF THOSE GORGEOUS BRAIDS.
Last Sunday I found myself down at one of my equestrian community's favorite local venues (the Evergreen Equestrian Park) for the WSHJA 2018 Spring National Hunter competition. Taking photos of fancy horses is always a great way to spend a morning.
Lately I've been dabbling in close up photos of the horses while they're on course. I'm loving how some of these shots are turning out!
