ALL proceeds from this campaign benefit Alicia Mendoza, Englewood Chicago . A well known animal rescue volunteer . PAWS Chicago has assisted her with so many abandoned pets as well as myself. I could no longer watch this 63 year old woman live without heat, broken pipes and unfixable boiler. Thank you for helping.

Alicia has been without a boiler for nearly a year. She applied for repair aid. That covered a used part which burned out due to a faulty wire from that installation. Then 2 pipes burst. The boiler system must be replaced .
She has been living in a small area of the house with several space heaters. ComEd bills have been as high as $1000!
A treasured volunteer in Chicago rescue .
Alicia has been acting as shelter for discarded cats in Englewood Chicago for over 15 years. The count usually holds steady at around 28 cats. Many are simply tossed from cars onto her property. Myself and other volunteers try to help her when we are able. PAWS Chicago helps by getting the cats fixed and taking friendly cats for adoption .
Alicia is 63 and lost her job of 20 yrs when her employer closed up shop. She is skilled at data entry and has excellent customer service phone skills if anyone knows of a local position. Year after year I see her sacrifice so much so she can care for the discarded cats of Englewood. If you prefer to mail a check or M.O. contact me for an address chicagotnr (AT)gmail.com
LET'S GET THIS BOILER FIXED ONCE AND FOR ALL.
