Remembering Candace

The defense bar lost a fierce advocate. And we lost a good friend. Candace was witty, loyal and intelligent, but most of all she was compassionate.
In lieu of a memorial service Candace suggested donations to Southside Art Center. Here is a description of the Center:
Southside Art Center creates a forum that applies the medium of opportunity, blending artistic expression, personal progress, and active citizenship toward individual empowerment. We see people with developmental challenges as full citizens of the community who have the ability and the opportunity to contribute to society, prosper financially, and make decisions that affect their lives. Currently Southside Art Center provides services to approximately 150 individuals working toward individual empowerment through creating and selling their artwork, paid employment, or volunteering in their community. Thank you for your contribution which will help empower people to achieve their dreams!

We have contacted the Art Center and they are in need of ceramic/pottery throwing wheels. If you would like to honor Candace's memory you can donate here and we will fund one or more wheels for the Center.
