Help us continue to be if service, if we aren't able to raise these funds by 12/31/18 we will have to permanently close our doors.
Jeffrey Beauty Supply in Brooklyn, New York was born out of a desire to service our customers with the utmost respect by store associates who understand the industry, the clientele, and the community. We want the experience of shopping at our store to be informative, exemplary, and comfortable. When we opened in 2017, at 1709 St. Marks Avenue, we were our landlord's first non corporate tenant in a brand new 12 store shopping strip. The complex was new and from all appearances very promising, our Landlord foretold of the wide variety of tenants he was in negotiations with, community staples such as, Lil Ceasars , Metro PCS, hair salons, etc.
A year later there was no change, no new tenants despite we ourselves sending prospects their way. On or about March of this year Metro PCS moved in and they soon closed. What are the odds of a major brand closing that quickly... the complex did not yield the traffic they needed to sustain. Despite all of the above we added services to the store to draw patrons across our threshold in attempts to increase traffic/revenue. It was quite the uphill battle, and unfortunately our reserves were depleting while the foot traffic continued to diminish month after month. From inception we received excellent reviews and continued to increase our inventory.

A black owned beauty supply in NYC is an anomaly. We don't have representation in ownership by design. We beat major odds just by opening and existing. We are customer centric and product knowledgeable. We give our patrons a space to share, learn, inquire... but most of all respect and comfort. Please be so kind to help us keep this going ❤.

The donated funds will keep our current doors open, pay our team, while renovating the new space which is almost a complete rehab. After such we will move all of our infrastructure and inventory to the new location.
Thank you for donating, sharing, and sending us well wishes.
