Xeno-Guardian Red Visor GO! is a project put together by Drew Maxey, Logan Long and Alejandro Juvera.

The story (without spoiling the fun of reading the book) is about a Mexican-American teenager who moves to a new city in the midwest and gains the powers similar to those of the heroes they use to watch on television as a kid. Using their new powers, they vow to be an inspiration to their younger sibling and protect their new city.
The story is an homage to the japanese tokusatsu/henshin genre such as Super Sentai, Kamen Rider and Power Rangers.
The story comes from all our experiences growing up as a kid wanting to be a power ranger or super hero with a focus on that innocent nostalgia we all cling to, that gives us hope and power to keep on going.
The other important part of this comic is that for us, we wanted to create a fun comic that also emphasizes diversity. Alejandro wanted to create a story that represents Mexican-American superhero in a positive light, without stereotypes and being a voice for the empowerment of diversity in comic books.
Our goal is to raise $2,500 in order to print and self publish this book ourselves. There will be several level of rewards for the more anyone donates, all the way from a guaranteed issue of the comic book shipped to you, all the way to posters, t-shirts, posters, original artwork and more! Every dollar goes a long way to help achieve this goal of ours! We're hoping to have the comic released by late fall!
